VOGO has launched and promoting IPFS based advanced CDN (Content Distribution Network) in Seoul City, aiming to create ‘The World’s Largest Server Data Pool'.
IPFS is a decentrailized cloud sever system using blockchain based Technology developed by Protocol Labs, created filecoin(cryptocurrency) to support its development. Filecoin is the sole payment method for IPFS(also known as Web 3.0), recorded as the first ranking in ICO Investment history of 257 Million US dollars in 47 days after obtaining SEC approval. Filecoin is listed on global top exchanges such as Bitforex, LBank, Coinbase, Gemini, Hotbit, etc.
Many companies and institutions such as NASA(US National Aeronautics and Space Administration), DLR(German Aerospace Center), Microsoft, Firefox Browser, BMW, Google Chrome, Netflix, and etc. are now changing to store their data into IPFS.
VOGO has pre-invested more than 13 million US Dollars, operating its own IPFS server of 20 Petabytes(1 Petabyte is 1,024 Terabytes) to join the tests holding by IPFS research team of Protocol Labs. VOGO's CDN business is aiming to create the 'World's Largest Server Data Pool' to support the most optimized data server network and streaming service to public and global customers.
In addition, due to the super fast growth of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence(AI), Internet of Things(IoT), Enormous Contents, Virtual & Augmented Realities(VR & AR) and IPFS, the global data capacity and the market size are expected to grow much more rapidly in the future.
